New York Design Week 2012

May is a busy month for New Yorkers who are design enthusiasts and/or those who are in the design business.  Kicking off the month in design for art lovers is FRIEZE ART FAIR at Randall’s Island Park May 4th – May 7th (click here for tickets and information) and following Creative Week New York May 7th – May 11th.  CW is a 5 day event where advertising, design and digital media merges in celebration, acknowledgement, and support of creativity amongst design professionals that “feed and touch” those disciplines.  It incorporates award shows,  industry thought-leader presentations and was created to honor, inspire and connect the creative community (go to

Then we have the 24th annual International Contemporary Furniture Fair; showcasing what’s best and next in design at the Jacob K. Javits Center May 19th – 22nd!  This four day furniture fair will have more than 25,000 interior designers, architects, retailers, designers, manufacturers, representatives, distributors, and developers attending with over 500 exhibitors from 30 countries.
